Lesson learnt: always follow the recipe unless you're very sure. Always decide what you want to bake.
So I tried to make persimmon cake/bread and I couldn;t decide so I decided to make both, which turned out to be a mistake because even though the cake bread smells really good, the texture is just weird. I mean, imagine a cake made of whole wheat flour. Or imagine bread that is kind of heavy. So anyway, the cake bread was a disaster but I hate wasting food and especially my expensive organic whole wheat flour so I'm trying to think of how to save a cake. I think I'll layer it with ice cream and make it an ice cream cake.
Ah it's too bad, I really wanted to eat those persimmons. I can't get enough of those, I ate at least 7 this week already, I'm serious. I brought 2 into the cinemas yesterday because the craving was so big! haha but okay, I'm going to salvage the cake now :D
