Okay so today I baked vegan cookies (WOW) and they turned out better than I expected, not that I really knew what to expect. But it's pretty cool, no eggs/milk/butter but I used organic soy milk
which was twice the price of normal dairy milk. But it tastes nice and has the same amount of calcium as normal milk so I guess that's good. And the cookies cooked really quickly, it was so much
fun cleaning the bowl and licking up the batter knowing that it's perfectly okay to eat it cos theres nothing raw in it, andd they cook really quickly, like ten minutes of cooking time.
The new thing was the flax seeds, they had to be grinded into powder form. There were so many different types of flaxseed, and in the end Clara and I chose the cheapest one (300gm for $2.55)
because they all looked the same. And I think that's really fine.
Oh and we made nice guacamole which were so easy.
Being vegan is really not so hard, I even bought a vegan cookbook today and I can't wait to try out all the different recipes!

For those of you who don't already know, I'm officially vegan.
This means, no meat, cheese, eggs, butter, any sort of animal product. But I really want to do it because I think people should really be more conscious of where their food is coming from. After I
found out about the kind of cruelty animals go through just for humans to eat, not out of survival, but simply because meat tastes good,I really couldn't eat it anymore. And people keep telling me,
oh you're just one person, but I think being vegan is me taking a stand against something I don't agree with. And it's really not that hard, I mean you can't eat a lot of things, but I'm getting
by. And I'm finding out a whole new type of diet and it's really exciting!
In fact, tomorrow will be my first vegan cooking date, with Clara and I'm really excited to try the new recipes. SO I guess my blog will also be about being vegan because there aren't many
Singaporean vegan blogs so it's cool to start one =D
Oh and today is Charis's birthday, we celebrated at Hard Rock and it was great fun.

Today was really tiring and fun! Camp Chartwell really exhausted me, but I'm looking forward
to another day tomorrow! :D And the birthday picnic was really sweet and fun, thanks guys!
I'm really thankful for the best friends I can ever have in the world, and I really don't want anything
to change!
I've been so happy lately I don't want it to go away! Oh well, I'm just going to live in the moment :D
Anyway, is this nice? If you want to buy it ask me and I'll consider :D And christmas is really coming!
Christmas shopping! I'm printing shirts if anyones interested, for those going for concerts or anything
next year. Or customized ones make great gifts too, basically I'm just going to take a few weeks away
and just devote them to making and buying christmas presents so I'm willing to take orders if anyones
interested. Oh and this cuteness:
And one last thing, I'm officially vegeterian :D YAY! I will explain in a later post, I'm going to rest and

I'm sixteen! I had a deligthtful time on my birthday and I got myself a helix piercing, not an act of teenage rebellion but because I think it looks nice on ears. Clara got her ears pierced after 2
years since they closed, so we go matching dark blue ear studs now :D
And thank you my dear friends for my wonderful birthday presents, they're lovely and I really love them! Yesterday, Tricia and Nicole presented me with a Cath Kidston recipe organizer and it's
stunning, I love it! But I can't bear to write in it because it looks so nice. I was looking for my blueberry muffin recipe because it's so yummy,and not like the other muffins which are kind of
heavy and makes you feel very full and they kind of clump up in your mouth, so I hope I typed it here last time.
We had a great time yesterday with Claire, to celebrate her birthday, we took a neoprint, just for fun- the first time afer 2 years! It was fun, and then we had a buffet dinner which was fun
too.
Everything is awesome and I know this year is going to be so much fun! December is approaching, Camp Chartwell starts tomorrow and I really hope it will be a success like last year's. I am
going christmas shopping with Shao later, and I have learnt to be generous I think :)

What a busy week! I feel so happy,and perky even though its almost one in the morning and I usually don't stay up.
But today was great fun, I went to Debo's and we had a great day, tried out Nigella's recipe for chocolate mint cookies and they turned out great,we substituted some things which we didn't have but
the nice thing about Nigella's recipes are that they're so easy to follow! And then we did silly things and did relaxing facials while watching movies and that was fun! :D
Yep, and my birthday is coming on Saturday which is exciting, because I get to go for a wedding! I like weddings :)
And I need to start using my hands to do crafts, tomorrow is spring cleaning day, though it's not spring, so hopefully I can find some materials to use and I'll let you know if i do find anything
;)
I have to do things now, just before I go to bed. Sorry for not posting in such a long time, i was ill after the trip D: Dreadfully ill but i'm all better now, the trip was fantastic by the way,
the kids are amazing.
Alright then, hope everyones been doing great.
